About the position

The Operations Research Analyst at TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is responsible for providing technical, analytical, and support services to evaluate plans and programs in alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Air Force (USAF) strategic objectives. This role involves formulating mathematical models, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with management to identify and solve operational problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, analytical, and support services, including analysis and evaluation of plans and programs.
• Perform analysis considering secondary and tertiary implications, projected threats, and resource constraints.
• Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables.
• Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate as necessary.
• Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve problems.
• Present results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to management or end users.
• Collect and analyze data to identify or resolve operational problems.
• Prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions.
• Define data requirements and gather and validate information.
• Design, conduct, and evaluate experimental operational models.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operations research, systems analysis, or management sciences.
• 8 years of experience as an operations research analyst in the DoD.
• Certification as defined by DODI 8570 at a level appropriate to skill level.
• Bachelor of Science in Operations Research or equivalent certification.
