About the position

The Operations Research Analyst will assess weapon systems using analytical tools to evaluate and modernize these systems, focusing on improving survivability against foreign threats. This role involves mission or campaign modeling to support the Department of Defense in making informed decisions for future combat scenarios. The position requires an active Secret Clearance and on-site presence five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assess weapon systems using analytical tools such as AFSIM.
• Evaluate and modernize weapon systems.
• Determine attributes and tactics to improve survivability against foreign threats.
• Perform mission or campaign modeling for projects.
• Support the Department of Defense in decision-making for future combat scenarios.

Requirements

• Active SECRET Security Clearance (DoD)
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field
• Modeling & Simulation Experience (Mission or Campaign)
• 6+ months of experience with AFSIM
• Experience scripting and/or programming in C++, Python, or MATLAB
• TS/SCI Clearance (preferred)
• Master's Degree (preferred)
• Experience working in a Linux environment (preferred)
