About the position

SMX Elevate ISR is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our team in providing cutting-edge analytics in support of military, law enforcement, and commercial entities. This role is critical as it entails conducting advanced data research and analysis, ultimately providing finished information products to our clients. The position requires a TS/SCI DoD security clearance, which necessitates US citizenship for work on DoD contracts. In this position, you will perform advanced data identification, gathering, analysis, fusion, and evaluation of publicly and commercially available data, products, and services. You will utilize both quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to integrate and analyze data, solve complex problems, and effectively communicate results to senior leaders and decision-makers. Your work will involve producing finished information products tailored to government and commercial clients, both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Additionally, you will apply your expertise in operational support to identify information gaps and perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to enhance the client mission. This role demands a high level of critical thinking and the ability to deliver analytic findings in various formats, including textual reports and graphic annotations, as well as developing and presenting briefings to support customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced data identification, gathering, analysis, fusion, and evaluation of publicly and commercially available data, products, and services.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to integrate and analyze data, solve problems, and effectively communicate results to senior leaders and decision makers.
  • Produce finished information products tailored to government and commercial clients, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Apply expertise in operational support to identify information gaps and perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to enhance the client mission.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment in researching multi-faceted problem sets in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in performing research, data fusion, and analysis of multi-discipline datasets.
  • Ability to acquire, display, and analyze spatio-temporal data.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and tradecraft standards to deliver analytic findings in textual form, graphic annotation, or other formats as directed by the government customer.
  • Familiarity with commercial datasets commonly used in support of Law Enforcement and Department of Defense information and analytic operations.
  • Experience converting data collected from multiple sources to perform geospatial analysis.
  • Experience utilizing commercially available analytic toolsets, including but not limited to: Analyst's Notebook, ArcMap/ArcPro, Google Earth.
