About the position

HigherEchelon is seeking motivated Operations Research Analysts to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Engineering Department team in Patuxent River, MD. This role involves providing advanced technical knowledge and analysis for complex operational environments and systems, leading the execution of intricate tasks, and performing comprehensive analyses of hardware/software concepts and designs. The position is available for both Journeyman and Senior levels, contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments.
• Leads the execution of complex tasks.
• Performs comprehensive analyses of hardware/software concepts, designs, and test requirements.
• Reviews, analyzes, integrates, and conducts test and evaluation of contractor or Government-generated source data and develops interim documentation.
• Performs system concept formulation, system design analysis, and subsystems design analysis.
• May work on special problem areas to make recommendations on highly unique issues, including digital innovation or disruptive technology areas.

Requirements

• Experience providing high-level subject matter expertise, analysis, and technical guidance to support project execution and business operations.
• Experience administering complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Minimum of Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Journeyman: Management, Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree with 3-9 years of related experience.
• Senior: Management, Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
