The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking an Operations Research Systems Analyst to join its Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL) in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is open rank, allowing for candidates at various levels of experience, from mid to senior level. The successful candidate will engage in high-impact research and analysis related to national defense, contributing to the development of next-generation technical capabilities. The role involves applying advanced analytical and systems engineering methods to support critical decision-making processes, ensuring the delivery of quality products, and expanding GTRI's influence in this vital technical area. As part of the Signals and Systems Division (SASD), the Operations Research/Systems Analyst will provide subject matter expertise on current and future threat systems, U.S. and allied weapon systems, and tactics. The analyst will manage projects and programs, collaborating with sponsors, engineers, and GTRI management to achieve project objectives. Responsibilities include conducting analyses of alternatives, evaluating systems performance, performing risk assessments, and developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). The analyst will also be involved in trade space exploration and the evaluation of test results, contributing to the overall mission of enhancing national defense through rigorous research and analysis. The Operations Research/Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of supporting defensible decision-making, directing lab resources for large-scale products or system deployments, and developing technical reports detailing models and processes used in decision support solutions. The role also includes mentoring junior researchers and student employees, presenting technical work to internal and external stakeholders, and advising senior government and industry stakeholders on operations analysis strategies.
