About the position

As an Operations Research Systems Analyst at Jacobs, you will play a pivotal role in supporting INDOPACOM through a business development position that is contingent upon award. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the production of assessment work streams that evaluate both friendly and adversary operations, capabilities, objectives, and gaps. This critical analysis will assist the Government in dismantling terrorist campaigns and furthering strategic objectives. You will be tasked with developing Information Operations (IO) assessment frameworks through operational design, and you will analyze both quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary data concerning indigenous populations and societies. In this role, you will gather, refine, and identify data with various variables in models, applying your personal judgment and mathematical tests to ensure accuracy and relevance. You will supervise the preparation of written assessment reports and briefings for management, indicating solutions or a range of possible alternatives ranked by desirability and probability of success. Quality control and quality assurance of all work and products will be a significant part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained. As a Journeyman in this position, you will be expected to perform all functional duties independently, drawing on your 3 to 10 years of experience and your educational background, which includes a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. You will also provide work leadership to lower-level employees, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in operations research or a related field.
  • Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in military operations or government contracting.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and analysis tools.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $82,000.
