About the position

Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) Operations Research Systems Analysts: ANSER is seeking qualified Operations Research Systems Analysts (ORSA) to support various projects operating under the Joint Test & Evaluation program. The tests will address and optimize the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by Combatant Commanders (CCMDs) to conduct a wide range of critical tasks and missions. The test and evaluation process used to address each set of TTPs will be carried out by small teams of test planners, subject matter experts, and operations research systems analysts while in regular coordination with government experts, operators, and leadership. The end result of the tests, varying in duration from 6 months to 3 years, will be optimized TTPs which will be immediately implemented in the field. ANSER is seeking qualified candidates with the quantitative analysis and modeling & simulation expertise needed to accomplish objectives per the Test Directives and associated guidance. Successful candidates will be able to apply ORSA skillsets to rapidly support study plan development and provide clear data derived from proven methodologies to support test planning, execution, and reporting. Operations Research & Statistical Analysis (ORSA) Personnel will: Work with Test Planners and Test Lead to identify the warfighter problems and test issues, coordinate with test planners and subject matter analysts to formulate test concepts, develop the data management and analysis plan, and help develop the test plan and test products.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Operations Research credentials/certification.
• Advanced degree plus at least 2 years of operations research and/or statistical analysis experience; or bachelor's degree plus at least 5 years of operations research and/or statistical analysis experience.
• Knowledge of and experience using various modeling and simulation methods and applications.
• Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in staffing, communication, and coordination efforts across commands, services, and Joint Staff.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in quantitative analysis and modeling & simulation expertise.
