About the position

The Operations Sales Manager at JX Truck Center plays a pivotal role in driving market share expansion and enhancing profitability. This position focuses on developing and inspiring a customer-centric team while optimizing sales performance across various sectors, including parts, mobile, and service sales. The role requires extensive travel and collaboration with the Enterprise Sales Manager to implement company initiatives and foster a culture of integrity and positive experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Enterprise Sales Manager in market share expansion and profitability enhancement.
  • Develop, grow, and inspire a customer-focused sales team.
  • Optimize performance of sales in parts, mobile, and service sales efforts.
  • Ensure team members conduct themselves with integrity in alignment with company values.
  • Communicate and manage relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain associates capable of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources for employee performance appraisals and training initiatives.
  • Evaluate opportunities to grow market share through geographic and product strategies.
  • Accountable for performance and sales output across various sectors including parts, service, and truck sales.
  • Partner with Operations Manager(s) to achieve mutual goals and advise on critical accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of management experience.
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with various customers.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and focus on closing deals.
  • Intermediate computer skills and CRM software experience required.
  • Disciplined with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
