About the position

The Operations Sales Manager at JX Truck Center is responsible for driving market share expansion and enhancing profitability through the development and management of a customer-focused sales team. This role involves optimizing sales performance across various segments, including parts, mobile, and service sales, while ensuring alignment with the company's core values. The position requires extensive travel and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Enterprise Sales Manager in market share expansion and profitability enhancement.
  • Develop, grow, and inspire a customer-focused sales team.
  • Optimize performance of sales across parts, mobile, and service sales efforts.
  • Ensure team members conduct themselves with integrity in alignment with company values.
  • Manage employee, customer, supplier, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-quality associates in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Evaluate opportunities to grow market share through geographic and product strategies.
  • Accountable for performance and sales output across various segments.
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager(s) to achieve mutual goals and advise on critical accounts.
  • Utilize CRM information for target market and account activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of management experience.
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with various customers.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and focus on closing deals.
  • Intermediate computer skills and CRM software experience required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
