About the position

The Operations & Sales Support Coordinator at GRABINCE is responsible for providing essential sales and operational support within the construction materials sector. This role involves managing sales leads, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring effective communication with contractors and customers. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales expertise and operational knowledge, fostering strong relationships in the construction industry to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage sales leads, responding to customer inquiries to support business growth.
  • Work with the sales team to prepare quotes, proposals, and order forms for contractors, builders, and architects.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to provide expert recommendations.
  • Coordinate project timelines, deliveries, and installations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on open orders and client accounts, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, construction firms, and architectural clients, ensuring professional communication.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Assist clients with product selection, customization, and design specifications.
  • Provide timely and accurate information regarding product availability, lead times, and project status updates.
  • Coordinate between sales, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as invoicing, filing, and maintaining accurate records of sales and operational activities.
  • Track inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely restocking of materials.
  • Resolve any project-related issues, working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide clients with relevant solutions.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate product catalogs and marketing materials.
  • Provide feedback to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Over 4 years of experience in sales support, operations, or customer service, preferably within the construction or cabinetry industry.
  • Experience working with contractors, construction firms, or architectural professionals is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in office software applications (e.g., QuickBooks, MS Office Suite).
  • Familiarity with CAD software is a plus, but not required.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing or project coordination roles is an advantage.

Nice-to-haves

  • Vocational training or certifications in construction or related fields are a plus.
  • Construction industry knowledge is a plus but not required.
