At Premier America Credit Union, the Operations Services Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the credit union branches, virtual services, and member service areas. The Operations Services Specialist will assist in reviewing Mobile/ATM deposits, processing requests from internal departments, and managing daily remittance processing. This role also involves scanning and indexing member documents, processing dormancy releases, and handling incoming mail requests. The Specialist will need to establish effective communication with Credit Union staff, responding to inquiries and maintenance requests while maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all interactions. Additionally, the Specialist will be expected to complete assigned special projects and ensure that their work area is clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation of credit union branches and member service areas.
  • Review Mobile/ATM deposits and complete necessary adjustments.
  • Process requests from internal departments in a timely manner.
  • Complete daily remittance processing and manual posting of items.
  • Scan and index member documents into Onbase.
  • Process dormancy releases and incoming mail requests.
  • Assist with reviewing Verification of Deposit (VOD) requests.
  • Process loan payoffs and send appropriate documents to the lending department.
  • Respond to internal inquiries and maintenance requests.
  • Complete assigned special projects and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies.
  • A minimum of one year of similar or related experience.
  • Good communication and public relations skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in using personal computers and related software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Solid math skills and bookkeeping abilities.
