Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant.
• Diagnose operating problems and make process control adjustments.
• Direct and perform necessary corrective actions as required.
• Prepare reports and collect samples for laboratory testing.
• Determine proper chemical flow rates and maintain shift logs.
• Implement efficiency-driven operational strategies to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of yourself and your team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operating wastewater treatment plants.
• State of Louisiana Wastewater License.
• Proficient in the use of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Hach WIMS.
• Ability to enter data into a maintenance management system.
