About The Position

The Operations Specialist, Buildertrend Purchasing, plays a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring efficient purchasing processes within Buildertrend. This role is responsible for onboarding new suppliers, maintaining product catalogs, managing rebate terms, and facilitating supplier payments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years of prior experience in a purchasing or account management focused role required.
• Proven experience in purchasing, supplier management, or operations roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in procurement and invoicing software is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact during the onboarding phase, addressing supplier questions and concerns.
• Set up rebate terms in accordance with agreements.
• Draft and submit rebate proposals for approval.
• Monitor rebate agreements to ensure compliance and timely execution.
• Load and maintain product catalogs, ensuring accurate and up to date information.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or update product offerings.
• Invoice suppliers in accordance with established payment terms and guidelines.
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy before submission.
• Manage Builder payment disbursements, ensuring accurate and timely payments to builders.
• Maintain records of all transactions and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
