Working with customers in a courteous and professional manner is key, as you will be the face of our operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing trucks and railcars for loading and unloading, which may require sampling, loosening large nuts, opening hatches, and attaching and/or detaching flexible hoses. You will also be tasked with loading and unloading agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using heavy or light-duty machinery and equipment, which may include bulk and packaged material. Monitoring and controlling all load-out functions will be part of your daily routine, as well as understanding and operating automated scale/dump systems. Additionally, you will conduct and properly record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, including lubrication of pumps, valves, and loading arms, while inspecting in-use equipment for any leaks or issues. Maintaining the quality of inventory, which may include blended, bulk, or packaged products, is crucial. You will deliver products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seeds, and feed to customer sites, ensuring that all work areas are kept clean, orderly, and safe. Regular housekeeping duties, grounds maintenance, and warehouse work, including driving loaders and operating forklifts, will also be part of your responsibilities. Reporting any customer complaints, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to your supervisor is essential to maintaining a strong safety culture and following all safety policies and procedures. Overall, your role will be vital in ensuring that our facility operates smoothly and that our customers receive excellent service.
