About the position

Moove is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our Charging Infrastructure team in Los Angeles. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our electric vehicle (EV) charging networks. The Operations Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, maintain charging stations, and support the expansion of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, particularly within the EV, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors, and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of EV charging stations, ensuring they are fully functional and meet safety and performance standards. In this position, you will be tasked with identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of charging station operations. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting on the performance of the charging stations. You will collect and analyze operational data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend actions for continuous improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to the charging infrastructure, while also working closely with the customer service team to address and resolve issues related to charging stations, ensuring a seamless experience for EV users. Compliance and safety are paramount in this role, and you will ensure that all charging stations comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. You will also assist in the planning and execution of new charging station installations, which includes site assessments, permitting, and coordination with contractors. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain operational documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for charging infrastructure operations, contributing to the overall success of the team and the company’s mission to provide sustainable job creation and fair access to vehicle ownership.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, preferably within the EV, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Familiarity with EV charging technologies, standards, and industry trends is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
