About The Position

The Operations Specialist at Peoples Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is responsible for supporting field operations through various tasks in an office setting. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in identifying and implementing solutions to problems.
• High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in Open-cIS, PCAD Dispatch, and MAXIMO.
• Experience in creating and assigning work orders.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated but also works well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support operations and capital workloads and projects within an office setting.
• Monitor workloads to satisfy customer service requests and compliance requirements.
• Analyze data and forecasting.
• Support Service (above ground) and Distribution (below ground) workloads.
• Create work orders and assign them to field personnel.
• Request permits and update company systems.
• Provide direct support to field personnel and coordinate with shop management.
• Navigate and utilize various customer information and operational systems to input, update, and change customer or system-related information.
• Assist shop management to complete multiple assignments, projects, and campaigns.
