About the position
This position is located in the US Army Special Operations Command DCS, G-33 Current Operations at Fort Liberty, NC. The role is responsible for coordinating, validating, planning, resourcing, monitoring, supporting, and reporting on Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) ordered USASOC operations and deployments globally. The individual will conduct and participate in Joint SOF planning and manage the Theater Desk for various operational programs and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and validate SECDEF ordered USASOC operations and deployments globally.
- Conduct Joint SOF planning and monitor theater specific requirements.
- Serve as the Theater Desk coordinator for OCO, JCSEX, JCET, CNT programs, JPAT, MLE, and overseas deployments of ARSOF.
- Manage the Theater Desk of the Joint Capabilities Requirement Manager (JCRM) and Army Synchronization Tool (AST) databases.
Requirements
- One year of specialized experience assisting theater desk specialists in support of global special operations actions.
- Experience collaborating with military commands to synchronize planning and deployment.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations pertinent to deployed special operations forces programs.
- Experience developing Warning Orders, Task Orders, Fragmentary Orders, and Deployment Orders.
