CSA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-time Operations Specialist II to provide essential 24/7 on-site support at the Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) Shore Enterprise Operations Center (SEOC) located in Washington, DC. This role is critical in monitoring, collecting, and disseminating information related to the operations of the SEOC, ensuring that all reporting aligns with the Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs) and adheres to local directives and standard operating procedures. The Operations Specialist II will serve as the first line of critical information flow, maintaining situational awareness (SA) and situational understanding (SU) independently and effectively. In this position, the Operations Specialist II will lead a team of four Operations Specialists, overseeing 12-hour continuous watch standing at the SEOC and stepping in as a relief when necessary. The typical work schedule consists of an 8-hour day during normal business hours, during which the specialist will prepare schedules, reports, and other requirements as directed by the SEOC Manager. Responsibilities also include assisting the CNIC N37 Staff in the flow of information to various stakeholders, screening and categorizing incoming message traffic, and preparing briefs in accordance with the Commander's requirements. The role requires supporting and proposing direction for Crisis Action Team (CAT) operations information management, utilizing the C4I Suite and other information systems available in the SEOC. The Operations Specialist II will be responsible for providing oral and written responses to queries from Echelon I, II, III, and IV commands, leadership, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing among various commands and organizations. Additionally, the specialist will execute Continuity Of Operations (COOP) plans when directed, maintain and track the status of equipment in the SEOC, and ensure compliance with all regulations governing secure communications equipment and procedures. Proper handling of classified material in a secure environment is also a key aspect of this role, along with adherence to local security procedures and support for Navy Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
