About the position

In this role, you will provide guidance to teammates across the retail insurance organization and to third-party vendors, supporting the firm's growth and success. You will manage projects aimed at meeting operational goals, enhancing efficiency, and driving excellence in client service and agency operations. Your responsibilities will include serving as a subject matter expert for questions related to systems, procedures, workflows, and resources, as well as monitoring adherence to established procedures and standards. Building and maintaining relationships across various business units, carriers, vendors, and outsourcing partners will be crucial to your success in this position. You will also support the creation of improved efficiencies and cost savings, identify challenges within the line of business, provide necessary support, and ensure follow-through to resolution. Participation in project groups and collaboration with team members will be essential, as will providing support to other operations team members as needed. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert for questions related to systems, procedures, workflows, and resources.

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
  • Three years of experience within the insurance industry.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
