The focus of an Operations Specialist is to provide a high level of administrative support by managing the onboarding and setup of new colleagues and carriers. This includes system training and troubleshooting assignments and logins.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and setting up new colleagues in our AMS management system.
  • Managing shared login folders on LastPass for the Private Risk team.
  • Managing system access requests, which include administration of insurance company partner portals, access to AMS systems, or other platform tools.
  • Host new hire system training.
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding checklists on Monday.com for colleague new hires and separations.
  • Troubleshooting logins, access, and workflow verification for contractors and vendors.
  • Maintaining colleague carrier login.
  • Managing changes as they occur: Managing passwords and email addresses.
  • Carrier system user audit for portal logins.
  • Assisting with special projects.

Requirements

  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Must be a committed, 'get-it-done' problem solver.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Must be tactful and persuasive.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must be able to learn any other relevant program or software system used by the firm as necessary.
  • Demonstrates the firm's core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm's culture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, economics, or finance strongly preferred.
  • 3 years of industry experience preferred.
