About the position

The Learning Operations Specialist at BAE Systems plays a crucial role in supporting the logistics and operational needs of learning and organizational development services. This position involves coordinating both in-person and virtual learning events, managing vendor relationships, and leveraging data to enhance the enterprise-wide learning strategy. The Specialist will ensure operational excellence in delivering training programs and provide actionable insights based on data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business leads and stakeholders to plan, schedule, and manage logistics for virtual and in-person learning programs.
  • Manage relationships and operations with vendors to ensure contracts are current and services are procured accurately.
  • Conduct analyses of learning data, evaluations, and return on investment metrics.
  • Compile learning metrics, review reports, and assess trends to support the learning strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Solutions team to evolve learning dashboards and metrics.
  • Provide data analysis and visualization support for stakeholder reporting requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, including creating project plans and communications.
  • Reconcile inter-company billing, process expense reports, and verify invoices.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Talent Solutions operations and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related experience (equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree).
  • Strong project management, business acumen, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively with internal and external partners and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
