About the position

The Operations Specialist serves as a key support role within the St. Louis County Department of Public Health, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency across both the Administration and Clinical Services Divisions. This position is pivotal in managing projects that influence departmental operations, ensuring effective coordination between clinical and non-clinical teams, and supporting various initiatives through project management, data analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects that impact departmental operations and ensure coordination across divisions.
• Support project management and implementation for clinical practices and administrative operations.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with department leadership to develop strategies for operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations using department data and materials.
• Oversee operational processes to ensure effective functioning of Clinical Services as a business unit.
• Support the transition to a Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike by managing relevant projects.

Requirements

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree and two years of related experience.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., HIPAA, FQHC requirements) is preferred.
