About the position

The Operations Specialist at Three Rivers FS is responsible for assisting in daily operational duties at the facility, including operating commercial sprayers and trucks for applying crop inputs. The role focuses on maintaining the facility, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operational duties at the facility.
• Operate commercial sprayer or floater for applying crop inputs to producer fields.
• Operate and maintain single or tandem axle trucks and other equipment.
• Maintain operations at the retail supply location and follow the maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
• Manage inventory and distribution of products and deliver customer products as requested.
• Stock and move warehouse products and materials, loading and unloading containers safely.
• Assist full-time and part-time operations personnel.
• Support Crop Specialists and Precision Farming Team with installs, data, mapping, and customer needs.
• Maintain the facility and equipment image.
• Improve efficiency and reduce costs to meet operational goals.
• Work with the location manager on safety and compliance issues.
• Conduct daily safety checks of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure all products are accounted for with invoices or delivery tickets.
• Maintain, repair, rebuild, and service location equipment, vehicles, and structures as needed.
• Follow company policies and compliance programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a Class A CDL license with required endorsements.
• Satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
• Required pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses or certifications in applicable states.
• Ability to work extended hours and be on-call as needed.

• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the agricultural sector.
