About the position

The Operations Specialist at Lyft Urban Solutions will support the General Manager of BIKETOWN in developing and executing operational plans focused on service quality, operational excellence, and customer experience. This role involves hands-on problem solving and managing both daily operations and larger projects to enhance the bikeshare system.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth daily field operations by creating and refining playbooks and SOPs, overseeing contractor relationship management, and performing quality checks in the field and depot.
  • Own end-to-end invoicing processes and asset tracking and management tools to support business success.
  • Support the General Manager of BIKETOWN in maintaining relationships with city partners and addressing operational issues or special projects.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify root causes of issues, using insights from field operations and data to implement solutions and drive performance improvements.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders, clients, and vendors, tackling challenging conversations when necessary.
  • Manage shifting priorities effectively, adapting to dynamic needs while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Provide event support and user engagement during the summer riding season.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience overseeing operations in a complex, fast-moving environment such as a distribution warehouse, restaurant, or delivery operation.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
