About the position

The Operations Specialist at OpenSky, a division of Capital Bank, NA, plays a crucial role in supporting the Card Operations team by managing requests for information and documentation from both internal and external sources. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with bank policies and maintaining operational efficiency as the business undergoes rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for 3rd party service vendor in the investigation of questions/problems, provide solutions and answer questions related to the credit card program and procedures
• Responsible for the fulfillment of litigations, subpoenas and complying with Bank policy
• Perform daily OFAC scans and take appropriate actions
• Responsible for managing plastic inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet production demands
• Maintain cardholder agreements, ensuring they are compliant and up to date with any pricing or regulatory changes
• Perform daily Military Lending Act scans
• Support E-Oscar credit dispute and Documents Received work queues as needed
• Support the Funding Department on a backup basis as needed
• Handle a variety of routine and non-routine functions to support various OpenSky areas and/or vendors
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant experience preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in credit card industry, banking, or financial services
• Previous debit and/or credit card operations experience is preferred
• Self-driven and detail oriented
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people in a team environment
• Ability to solve problems and use sound judgement
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
