About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an Operations Specialist for a contract position that will be 100% remote for our banking client based in Green Bay, WI. This role is crucial in ensuring that operational tasks are handled efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Operations Specialist will work from 1:45 pm to 10:15 pm CST, providing support in various operational areas. The position requires a proactive approach to managing incoming work, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with appropriate resources to meet service level agreements (SLAs). In this role, the Operations Specialist will be responsible for minimizing risk by adhering to all regulations and rules related to the operational area. This includes reporting any deficiencies to leadership and assisting in the development and presentation of training materials. The specialist will also play a key role in escalating suspected fraud cases to the Financial Intelligence Department and leadership for resolution. Additionally, the Operations Specialist will enter transactions into the PC, verify their accuracy, and balance general ledger accounts and applications. Resolving complex customer issues will be a significant part of the job, requiring the use of multiple resources and records to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Receive and review incoming work, prioritize accordingly, and contact appropriate resources as needed to meet SLAs.
  • Minimize risk by following all regulations and rules pertaining to operational area and report deficiencies to leadership.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of training materials.
  • Escalate suspected fraud to Financial Intelligence Department and leadership for resolution.
  • Enter transactions into PC, verify accuracy, and balance general ledger accounts/applications.
  • Resolve complex customer issues using multiple resources and records.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills to manage incoming work and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to adhere to regulations and rules in the operational area.
  • Experience in developing and presenting training materials.
  • Knowledge of fraud detection and escalation processes.
  • Proficiency in data entry and transaction verification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues.
