About the position

The Operations Specialist role is designed to support the COO in various operational functions, including compliance, risk management, human resources, vendor management, and staff training. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and effectively manages risks, particularly in the areas of fraud and compliance. Additionally, the role involves some project management responsibilities related to credit and debit card programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the COO in managing compliance and risk management functions.
• Oversee the human resources function within the organization.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective vendor management practices.
• Conduct staff and volunteer training programs.
• Engage in project management related to credit and debit card programs.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in compliance and fraud management.
• 1 year of experience in credit union or banking operations.
• Valid Driver's License.
