About the position

The Kitting Operations Specialist at GLOVIS EV Logistics America plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and revenue generation through the identification and implementation of process improvements. This position involves managing complex projects related to warehouse management systems (WMS) and supporting logistics operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between various teams.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, analyzing, developing, documenting, and leading complex projects targeted to increase efficiency or revenue.
• Identify process improvements to WMS/WCS Systems.
• Prepare, analyze, update & maintain logistical masters in WMS.
• Support projects related to WMS/WCS systems between systems and operations team.
• Leading and supporting the overall management of contract reporting and presentation.
• Initiate continuous improvement activities to remove process barriers and improve efficiency.
• Facilitate complex operational and technical initiatives.
• Report to upper management on process issues, improvement points and system updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or similar.
• Proven experience as an operations or logistics specialist in a similar position.
• Experience in WMS, SAP development from a logistics operation perspective.
• 3+ years of experience in a process improvement role.
• Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. WMS, TMS, SAP, ERP).
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.

• Lean Six Sigma or continuous process improvement experience is preferred.
• Proactive critical thinking; committed to customer satisfaction/project delivery and able to respond to rapid change.
• Reporting analytics experience, with the ability to compile, review, and present trends, and potential solutions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
