About the position

The operations processor role at one of the largest financial companies worldwide involves performing a variety of operational tasks for complex processes. This position is responsible for managing the entire process from receipt of work to resolution, requiring coordination among various operational areas and customers. The role is a contract-to-hire position with full benefits after 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of operational tasks for complex processes or functions.
  • Take accountability for the entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure.
  • Coordinate information among various operational areas and customers.
  • Receive and review incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed.
  • Enter transactions into CRT/PC, verifying accuracy.
  • Balance general ledger accounts and resolve complex customer issues using multiple resources and records.
  • Prepare, edit, distribute, and/or correct specialized and/or complex documents.
  • Act as an escalation point for less senior processors for complex issues or transactions, providing training as needed.
  • Answer phones and monitor accounts where a customer has filed bankruptcy.
  • Interact with Wells Fargo Law Department, employees, customers, and court personnel.
  • Write procedures and document files.
  • Review incoming Elder Financial Reports for accuracy and re-write incident descriptions when necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience in operational tasks and processes in a financial setting.
  • Ability to coordinate information among various operational areas and customers.
  • Proficiency in using multiple online systems and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Ability to resolve complex customer issues effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with general ledger accounting.
