About the position

The Operations Specialist at Mountain West Bank plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations department by assisting the Operations Manager and Operations Support Manager. This position involves a variety of tasks including handling wire transfers, fraud investigations, and balancing general ledgers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong customer service skills, contributing to the bank's commitment to community and employee welfare.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager and Operations Support Manager with department coverage.
• Handle Domestic/Foreign Wires and BSA duties as needed.
• Balance various General Ledgers accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external inquiries professionally.
• Collect and compile certifications for monthly review.
• Process Non-Post and all duties associated with this.
• Process foreign and domestic wires.
• Handle Fraud emails and correspondence.
• Assist with BSA functions such as CTRs and emails.
• Monitor the Bank's Fraud Investigation program.
• Research and respond to potential fraudulent activity.
• Assist in maintaining the CIP program.
• Process Lock Box and mail room duties as needed.
• Process Accounts Payable and assist with maintenance and research requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 or more years of retail banking experience or a combination of finance and banking.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Impeccable customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Preference given to those with Jack Henry experience and knowledge of MWB systems, products and procedures.
