About the position

The Operations Specialist at Sheer Logistics plays a crucial role in supporting account managers to enhance load growth and deliver exceptional customer service. This position involves managing operational tasks for assigned accounts, ensuring that all shipment requirements are met, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and carriers. The Operations Specialist is expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing timely and effective support to the account management team.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate support to the Account Management team through managing operational tasks such as load building, appointment setting, and document retrieval.
• Daily dispatching and providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep updated and timely records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Manage and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure load count growth.
• Resolve problems to the satisfaction of carriers/customers and Sheer Logistics.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous customer engagement experience.
• Excellent phone, communication, and customer service skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency.
• Working knowledge of basic geography.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
