About the position

Schneider is seeking an Operations Specialist in Green Bay to be accountable for working with drivers, improving day-to-day processes, increasing business efficiencies, and completing administrative processes. The Operations Specialist will accomplish this work through using tracking systems and collaborating with other team members. This role is essential in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Operations Specialist will be expected to work closely with drivers and customers to address any issues that arise, ensuring optimal service delivery and customer satisfaction. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The Operations Specialist will also play a key role in providing feedback to leadership regarding challenges related to capacity and customer needs, helping to drive continuous improvement within the operations team.

Responsibilities

• Assign freight to company drivers.
• Ensure optimal use of driver capacity.
• Provide feedback to leaders about challenges related to capacity and customers.
• Work closely with drivers and customers to solve issues that arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.
• One year of operations experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
