About the position

The position at Associated Bank involves performing a variety of operational tasks for complex processes or functions under general supervision. The role requires accountability for the entire process from receipt of work to resolution, including researching issues and analyzing information. The individual will communicate effectively with customers, act as an escalation point for less senior technicians, and maintain compliance with regulations. The role also emphasizes identifying efficiency opportunities and contributing to training development.

Responsibilities

  • Receive/review incoming work, prioritize accordingly and contact appropriate resources as needed to meet SLAs.
  • Minimize risk by following all regulations and rules pertaining to operational area and report deficiencies to leadership.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of training.
  • Escalate suspected fraud to Financial Intelligence Department and leadership for resolution.
  • Enter transactions into PC, verify accuracy; and balance general ledger accounts/applications.
  • Resolve complex customer issues using multiple resources and records.
  • Perform fast, effective, accurate, and courteous service to customers and banks.
  • Prepare, edit, distribute, and/or correct specialized and/or complex documents.
  • Provide regular reports on customer feedback and trends in problems or situations involving various product activities.
  • Review processes and procedures for accuracy and efficiency opportunities and recommend to leadership, as applicable.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business or Finance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Business, Finance or Operations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services or Operations.
