About the position
NewLimit is seeking an Operations Specialist to support our lab and office space at our South San Francisco site. This role involves engaging in various operational activities to support the company's growth and working closely with scientific and leadership teams to contribute to the company culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Lab Operations, including inventory, EH&S, shipping and receiving, and other assigned tasks
- Coordinate with facilities management to maintain our office and laboratory space
- Manage the office and logistics within our headquarters location to support the onsite team
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned, such as event planning, welcoming guests, and providing executive support
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations focused role or similar position
- Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to establish and develop internal and external relationships
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for internal and external audiences
- Strong attention to detail
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a lab
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Experience with gSuite is a plus
