About the position
Waste Connections is seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team at the Weinberger site in Phoenix, Arizona. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by acting as a liaison between managers, drivers, and customers. You will be responsible for maintaining DOT files, providing administrative support, and using various systems to document and provide information. Your role will also involve assisting in maintaining compliance, performing various filing and data entry tasks, helping with route optimizations, and handling incident claims while keeping OSHA records. This position requires a detail-oriented and well-organized individual who can effectively communicate in English and has a minimum of one year of administrative or data entry experience. A high school diploma or GED is required for this role. Requirements
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- 1 year of administrative/data entry experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
