About the position

The Operations Specialist at ColumbiaDoctors FPO plays a crucial role in supporting organizational goals through project management, technical support, and analytical decision-making. This position is highly visible and involves collaboration with department leadership, managers, staff, and providers to enhance operational efficiency and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, propose, and develop tools to gauge performance and assess it against benchmarks.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations for Quality stakeholders to address operational, access, and quality challenges.
• Lead or co-lead projects to enhance ColumbiaDoctors FPO Quality's support for faculty practice departments.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement performance improvement initiatives as needed.
• Support and mentor staff to maintain a patient-centered environment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary committees to improve patient care and meet needs in alignment with Quality's strategic objectives.
• Stay current on organizational, regulatory compliance, and patient privacy training policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in problem assessment and resolution in complex settings.
• Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
• Ability to deliver high-level presentations for management.
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship management skills.
