About the position

The Operations Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service. This role involves hiring and scheduling staff, maintaining the point of sale (POS) system, processing online orders, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The manager will also coordinate marketing efforts and manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth store operations.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, scheduling, and managing staff
• Maintaining POS system including inventory, reporting, pricing, and cash register
• Processing all online orders including input, packing, and shipping
• Maintaining inventory and ordering packaging/shipping supplies
• Reviewing inventory and providing a weekly production list for the kitchen
• Maintaining wholesale accounts and processing all wholesale orders in the POS
• Reviewing and approving all social media posts and email blasts
• Reviewing the website for proper pricing and information updates
• Coordinating scheduling of all sales and promotions with the marketing manager
• Reviewing and approving vendor invoices
• Maintaining food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards
• Opening and closing the store

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of retail experience, preferably in the food industry
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Computer proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft products
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store
• Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 20 pounds
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift with occasional overtime or weekends
