The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Finance organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team based out of the McKinney, TX site supporting the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS), Electro-Optical Infrared Solutions (EO/IRS) business. This position will be responsible for the daily business execution and financial activities for a set of programs mainly produced out of the McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center. In this role, you will engage in cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing, and reporting for a set of assigned programs. You will frequently collaborate with the Program Manager, CAM's/IPTLs, Material Program Managers, and Mission Area PMO/Finance. Your personal involvement will be crucial in the successful execution of contracts. You will drive the finance process for a set of programs to influence processes related to EVM policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to BOM traceability, production labor, and production support labor. Additionally, you will actively identify risks that affect cost and/or schedule and provide proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will also be required as part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Cost/schedule control and analysis for assigned programs.
  • Forecasting and estimate-at-completion (EAC) calculations.
  • Conducting variance analysis and data reviewing.
  • Reporting financial activities for a set of assigned programs.
  • Collaborating with Program Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Driving finance processes related to EVM policies and procedures.
  • Identifying risks affecting cost and schedule.
  • Performing additional ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of financial experience, or an advanced degree with less than 2 years of experience, or 10 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience using SAP business systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using PRISM EV.
  • Experience interfacing with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills for leading program personnel.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
