About the position

Peraton is seeking a full-time Operations Support Coordinator to join our team in Reston, VA. This role is essential in supporting critical missions and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly within the organization. The Operations Support Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of administrative and financial tasks, including expense reporting, reconciling invoices, and processing reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a proactive approach to optimizing operational performance and facilitating department growth. In this role, the Operations Support Coordinator will assist in recommending and implementing office procedures, identifying problems, and suggesting solutions. They will manage business calendars and coordinate events, including venue arrangements for department conferences, leadership meetings, and social events. Maintaining confidentiality of corporate, personnel, and research matters is crucial, as is the ability to schedule meeting reservations and manage facility accommodations. Additionally, the Operations Support Coordinator will be responsible for social media management, developing content to enhance community engagement online, and monitoring department communication, newsletters, and corporate pages. They will also coordinate travel arrangements for individuals and groups, prepare meeting materials, and oversee meeting preparation, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up records. This position requires a high standard of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist operations with administrative and financial tasks including expense reporting, reconciling invoices, and processing reports.
  • Recommend and implement office procedures.

  • Manage business calendars and coordinate events such as department conferences and leadership meetings.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret eligible clearance; Active federal background investigation with a T5 adjudication is preferred.
  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years of administrative experience required
  • 2+ years experience working with U.S. Government contracts
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
