About the position

The Operations Support Coordinator at Tax Airfreight Inc. is responsible for providing essential support to the Illinois Retail Operations team. This entry-level position focuses on data entry, communication, and ensuring the accuracy of shipping documents, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with and provide support to the Illinois Retail Operations team
• Perform proficient and accurate alpha and numeric data entry into web-based systems
• Assist with retail import, export and surface shipments as required
• Verify system information to bill of ladings to ensure accuracy
• Review documents for pertinent information and accuracy before documents are scanned
• Track overages, shortages, and damaged freight (OS&D)

Requirements

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate within related Microsoft programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solver, with great attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
