About the position

The Ops Sup Intermed Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on providing essential operations support services. This role involves maintaining records, account management, and serving as a liaison among various stakeholders including operations staff, relationship managers, and clients. The primary objective is to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in alignment with Citi's operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies using analytical skills and data analysis tools.
• Interpret data and results based on analysis and professional judgement.
• Apply project management to assist with operational projects as assigned.
• Conduct feasibility analysis for significant process changes and collaborate with business teams to develop process improvements.
• Resolve complex issues using professional judgment and business expertise.
• Provide informal guidance and training to new and lower-level team members as needed.
• Perform Quarterly Attestation of accounts in eRecon as an Account Owner delegate.
• Create, interpret, and distribute specialized MIS Reporting to multiple teams within Citi.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly High Risk Account variance analysis using various data sources.
• Interact with North American Controller teams to diagnose and resolve Ledger exceptions.
• Collaborate with Fraud, Retail Bank Branch Network, Private Bank, and International Personal Banking teams.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• High level knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Proven organization and time management skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with Citi General Ledger Applications, focusing on inquiry framework and P2P.
• Experience in Account Ownership for Balance Sheet accounts.
• Experience with Reconciliation systems is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
