About the position

The Operations Support Intermediate Analyst is responsible for providing operations support services, including record maintenance, account management, and serving as a liaison between various stakeholders. The role aims to ensure day-to-day operations align with Citi's operational infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies using analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Interpret data and results based on the analysis of information and application of professional judgement
  • Apply project management to assist operational projects as assigned
  • Perform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflow
  • Resolve varied and complex issues using professional judgment, discretion, and business expertise
  • Provide informal guidance and training to new and lower-level team members, as needed
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
  • Perform Quarterly Attestation of accounts in eRecon as an Account Owner delegate
  • Create, interpret, and distribute specialized MIS Reporting to multiple teams and organizations within Citi
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly High Risk Account variance analysis through use of MIS, General Ledger, and Subledger data
  • Interact with the North American Controller teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Ledger exceptions
  • Interact with Fraud, Retail Bank Branch Network, Private Bank, and International Personal Banking teams

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High level knowledge of related industry standards and practices
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with Citi General Ledger Applications with a focus on inquiry framework and P2P
  • Experience in Account Ownership for Balance Sheet accounts
  • Experience with Reconciliation systems a plus
  • Background in Entitlement Control
