About the position

The Operations Support Manager at Ravago Americas is responsible for managing and overseeing the functionality of the general office and administrative teams in alignment with the organization's policies and applicable laws. This role requires a direct interface with customers' operational teams, including purchasing, inventory, and customer service. The manager will prepare and present statistical information to the management team using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, serving as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns related to deliveries. The position involves addressing customer complaints and resolving issues through effective communication, as well as developing and implementing solutions to address delivery concerns. In addition to customer interaction, the Operations Support Manager will reconcile variances in the ERP system and the warehouse to ensure accuracy, keeping customers informed about changes to scheduled due dates. The role also includes ensuring the accuracy and completeness of departmental activities and documents, supervising the activities of CSS and PBS associates, and collaborating with shipping, receiving, production, and other departments to perform root cause analysis on discrepancies. The manager will process bulk sales orders within the ERP system and audit processes to ensure organizational accuracy and departmental goal achievement. The position requires planning, assigning, and directing work, as well as motivating employees to achieve goals. The manager will oversee the employee life cycle, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and conducting training for all direct associates. The role also involves managing and enforcing company policies and performing other duties as assigned by the General Manager. The Operations Support Manager is expected to be an inspiring leader, selecting the best candidates for positions, providing structure and direction, and facilitating team processes within the Ravago culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all functionality of the general office and administrative teams.
  • Direct interface with customers' operational teams including purchasing, inventory, and customer service.

  • Conduct training for all direct associates and monitor facility-wide training for effectiveness of the WMS.
  • Manage and enforce all applicable company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar title, industry, and scope of responsibility.
  • Familiarity with various systems, including Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel; Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
