About the position

J. J. Keller is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our Service Operations team at our Corporate Campus in Neenah, WI. With over 70 years of experience, J. J. Keller provides solutions and expert insights to over 90% of the Fortune 1000 companies, helping them create safe work environments and navigate the complexities of compliance. As the demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking to add talented individuals to support our clients' needs. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients remain compliant with regulations related to their fleet, including tasks such as permitting, licensing, and vehicle tax. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience in an office setting, and proficiency in Excel. You will be working closely with Client Service teams and clients to gather and validate information, while maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive documents. This position offers a flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Responsibilities

  • Audits documents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Verifies, analyzes and corrects client data to produce various reports.
  • Enters accurate information into internal systems for clients.
  • Investigates and resolves discrepancies between credentials/titles received against the order that was placed.
  • Refers complex issues to appropriate person.
  • Follows up with states/vendors regarding transaction statuses via phone and/or email as necessary.
  • Works directly with Client Service teams and clients to obtain and validate information.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information obtained from and on behalf of clients.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional services experience utilizing Excel.
  • Post-secondary education in a business-related field preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with a heavy focus on Excel.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of local, state, federal regulations pertaining to vehicle credentialing desirable.
  • Ability to apply regulatory knowledge in a variety of situations.
  • Independent and strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Desire to meet and exceed client expectations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a similar role within the compliance or regulatory field.
  • Familiarity with vehicle credentialing processes.
