About the position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our operations team in Akron, OH. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Operations Support Specialist will play a crucial role in coordinating recruitment efforts for the designated site, ensuring that staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will work closely with the KBS Recruiting Team to facilitate communication and assist with local job fairs and recruitment events. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Site Manager in onboarding new employees and maintaining accurate training and employee files. Compliance with company policies and procedures is paramount, and the Operations Support Specialist will assist the Site Manager in ensuring that all operations adhere to these standards. In this position, you will be responsible for providing regular reports to the Site Manager regarding staffing deficiencies and recruitment needs. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting for the designated site, including communication with the KBS Recruiting Team.
  • Assist with local job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Support the Site Manager with onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain training and employee files for the Site Manager.
  • Assist the Site Manager in maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide the Site Manager with regular reporting on staffing deficiencies and recruitment needs.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes and employee onboarding.
