About the position

The Operations Support Specialist at Univar Solutions plays a crucial role in ensuring safety compliance and operational efficiency within the INFINITE SUSTAINABLE SERVICES (ISS) business. This position involves acting as the site team Safety lead and corporate safety liaison, managing waste transport and disposal, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with a solid understanding of RCRA and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as site team Safety lead and corporate safety liaison to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare Bill of Lading, Waste Manifests, and schedule transport and disposal of customer waste and recycling.
• Identify, manage, and coordinate opportunities for process improvement to enhance program efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to optimize support and service for customers.
• Perform other related duties as required by customers or ISS management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of industry experience, with a focus on RCRA and DOT regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to pass company physical and drug screen tests.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
