About the position

The Operations Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment and enhancing customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with customers, suppliers, and plant personnel. This position involves collaboration with various departments to meet production goals and manage logistics efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with various departments for order fulfillment
• Assist Plant Manager with production planning/scheduling to maintain production goals
• Communicate production schedules with the production staff
• Generate necessary documents for picking, labeling, and shipping of goods
• Set dispatch schedules for deliveries as needed
• Accurately enter orders, inventory counts, and daily production counts into ERP system
• Perform customer service via phone or face-to-face and provide order updates as needed
• Complete additional tasks as needed

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills with the ability to use fractions and percentages
• Working computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior shipping and receiving experience highly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
