About the position

Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE) is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to provide essential administrative support to the Operations Metering Supervisor and the Operations Supervisor. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the operations team can function efficiently and effectively. The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for promoting the Cooperative's programs and ensuring that the needs of both teammates and members are met with the utmost professionalism and enthusiasm. In this position, the Operations Support Specialist will be tasked with following written and verbal directives, retaining critical information, and planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple tasks. The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively is crucial, as the role will involve various administrative duties that support the operations team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required, and the candidate must be willing to participate in on-the-job training to enhance their skills and knowledge. Responsibilities

Requirements
