About the position

ABSC is seeking an Operations Support professional with a TS/SCI clearance to assist the NGA mission in Washington, DC. This role involves serving as a subject matter expert and technical advisor, managing daily operations, contributing to strategic planning, and resolving operational issues. The position is critical in ensuring the successful operation of the NGA Maven applications and services, and in providing strategic advice to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic advice and recommendations to leadership on new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures.
• Supports fielding and sustainment of operational hardware.
• Coordinates maintenance repairs and manages aspects of physical property or equipment.
• Collaborates with staff across the Platform Engineering Division and vendors for successful operations of NGA Maven applications and services.
• Documents quarterly and annual goals for the NGA Maven IT infrastructure in coordination with Product Management staff.
• Resolves issues with the NGA Maven operational infrastructure in collaboration with CIO-T.
• Supports COR coordination efforts with vendors for cloud computing, security, networking, storage, and database management services.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance
• 3 years of experience in project management
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with cloud computing environments
• Broad understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with major defense acquisitions or large R&D programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with enterprise project management concepts like Scaled Agile for Enterprise.
