About the position

This position at Bank of America is responsible for overseeing the Operations team, ensuring that they meet deadlines and effectively coordinate tasks. The role emphasizes continuous business improvements, adherence to operational procedures, and providing guidance to team members. The ideal candidate will be production and quality-focused, capable of working in a high-volume environment, and will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Operations team and ensure they meet deadlines.
  • Support continuous business improvements and review operations procedures.
  • Implement changes and ensure adherence to operations procedures.
  • Provide guidance to employees and handle exception requests.
  • Refer complex problems to a senior manager.
  • Manage team workload and provide general oversight and direction to the team.
  • Maintain internal, operational, and financial controls within the risk appetite of the business unit.
  • Review processes to ensure efficiency and implement process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous production experience including 2nd Shift work schedule.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-speed production environment.
